Woman arrested, accused of robbing cab driver
UTICA, N.Y. -- More than a month after a taxi driver was robbed, Utica Police say they found the person responsible. It happened back on January 14th.
Police say the City Cab driver picked up Jacquelyne Goppert-Alati, 36, of Utica in Oneida Square and headed for John Street. The driver said the woman told him to pull over, and that's when she allegedly put a sharp object to his neck and demanded money.
Police say she took off with the driver's money.
The suspect was arrested on Monday and charged with felony robbery.
