SUNY Potsdam student wins "Oscar Experience Talent Search"
POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Hollywood's biggest names weren't the only award-winners Sunday night.
SUNY Potsdam junior ChaRon Brabham won first place in the national "Oscar Experience Talent Search."
The aspiring filmmaker submitted a 30-second video answering the question: "How will you contribute to the future of movies?" Her black and white short film explained her dream to "both educate and broaden horizons for the future of children."
In addition to attending the Oscars, Brabham and the others got to mingle with Academy Award nominees.
