MOHAWK, N.Y. - The Mohawk boys basketball team looked every bit the No. 8-ranked team in Class C on Friday with a 64-51 victory over neighbor Herkimer.
Carson Murphy scored 26 points and Kainan McCarthy added 17 to lead the Mohicans (16-1), who led by 23 points after the third quarter.
Joe McKinney scored 16 points and Adrian Viscomi scored 15 to lead Herkimer (5-12).
