Woman stabbed in fight over cell phone

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse woman is accused of stabbing another woman during a fight over a cell phone. It happened on Albert Terrace around 9:45 p.m. Friday.

Police say Abrienne Lemon, 22, and Melinda Morris, 36, were fighting over a missing cell phone. That's when Lemon allegedly stabbed Morris in the arm. Morris was treated and released from the hospital.

Lemon is now charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
