SKANEATELES, N.Y. - Tim Green played with Doug Marrone at Syracuse University and served on the hiring advisory committee that picked Marrone to take the helm of the Orange in 2008, and if reports of Marrone bolting for Buffalo are true Green is wishing him well.
In an interview with YNN, Green says Marrone got the program back on track during his four-season tenure and there's a much better foundation for the next head coach to work with than when Marrone took over for Greg Robinson, who went 10-37 in four seasons.
