SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It was a win-win for the Syracuse Crunch and the Syracuse community on Saturday as the team shut out Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 4-0 and collected 1,286 stuffed animals to donate to local children from a teddy bear toss.
It was the second-straight shutout for the Crunch, who lead the AHL in points. The team's next game is Friday against Adirondack at the War Memorial.
