WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Hundreds of North Country business men and women came together to honor the "20 under 40." The Northern New York Business Magazine recognized 20 business people, entrepreneurs and officials under the age of 40 who are emerging leaders in their communities.

The 20 honorees received a spread in the magazine and a luncheon held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown Thursday.

The magazine editor says he's humbled by the response and enthusiasm from the community to nominate these deserving men and women.

“These are not our picks as a magazine. These are picks that people from the community wrote in and told us we should take a look at these young leaders as future, those who are going to be leading the North Country into the years to come,” NNY Business Editor Kenneth Eysaman said.

This is the magazine's 25th issue in its third year of publication.
