CANASTOTA, N.Y. -- The International Boxing Hall of Fame's class of 2013 was announced in Canastota.

Two Division Champion Arturo "Thunder" Gatti leads the list of inductees.

The inductees were introduced Monday as hall leaders prepare for the 24th Annual Hall of Fame weekend in June. In addition to Gatti, five time world champion Virgil "Quicksilver" Hill and popular referee Mills Lane will also be inducted.

"He would always say 'Let's Get It On' after he did his instructions and he was serious and he was very fair. He was one of the great referees in modern time. And he did all the big fights in Las Vegas and around the world," Edward Brophy said.

Inductees were voted in by members of the Boxing Writers Association and a panel of international boxing historians.

During the Hall of Fame Weekend, special tribute will be paid to Canastota's own Carmen Basillio who died last month at the age of 85.
