FORT DRUM, N.Y. -- Children on Fort Drum helped to kick off the holiday season with a Tree and Menorah lighting ceremony.

A group of kids helped to light the tree and welcomed Santa outside the Main Post Chapel.

The celebration then moved indoors to a holiday party that included cookies, hot chocolate and gave the children a chance to tell Santa what was on their Christmas list.
