SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Leadership Greater Syracuse welcomes 53 people into the class of 2013. The orientation for the prospective class was held Thursday evening at Syracuse's Palace Theatre.
The students will take the year long program to prepare themselves for involvement in Central New York's community. They will learn about government, economic development and educational issues.
LGS's Executive Director says anyone who is interesting in helping their community prosper would be a great LGS candidate.
"Someone should consider attending LGS if they are passionate and interested in our community and more importantly interested in being involved and making a difference in their community," said LGS Executive Director Pam Brunet.
YNN's own Lacey Leonardi is in this year's class.
Leadership Greater Syracuse has been around for 21 years.
