SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A third VNOT gang member has pleaded guilty to gang related crimes.

Court officials say Kenneth Jackson, 28, of Syracuse, entered a plea deal Thursday to RICO conspiracy. Jackson admitted to participating in a gang fight in October 2010 at the Juke Box Bar on North Geddes Street and using an AK-47 to shoot at both a home and a rival gang member. He also told authorities he possessed crack cocaine and drug money.

At sentencing, Jackson will face up to life in prison, a $25,000 fine and post release supervision.

A total of eleven gang members were arrested in May of this year for involvement in everything from murder to drug trafficking to witness tampering. Three of them have now entered guilty pleas.

The arrests came from a long term investigation conducted by the Syracuse Gang Violence Task Force.
