Man accused of punching Macomb councilman
ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Charges have been filed following the assault of a town councilman in St. Lawrence County.
The Sheriff's office says they arrested Ronald Cardinell, charging him with third degree assault. He allegedly punched a Macomb town councilman in the shoulder, causing swelling and bruising.
Cardinell was arraigned in town court and released. His next court date has not yet been announced.
