SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A program dedicated to the training of women entrepreneurs is now even more accessible.

The WISE Women's Business Center opened its new location Thursday in Syracuse's tech garden. The center features year-round training for women entrepreneurs. They offer one-on-one business counseling, training, workshops and mentorship for women looking to start and grow a business.

The new location will also allow for more women to utilize the "walk-in" program.

"They can understand that networking is very important, they can get training and all kinds of classes that help them. One-on-one counseling that really makes a difference for each of them," said Joanne Lenweaver, WISE Women’s Business Center Director.

Lenweaver hopes to have 500 women trained and enrolled in workshops and an additional 250 in one-on-one counseling this year.
