FRANKLIN, N.Y. -- The two people found dead inside a Delaware County home have now been identified as a SUNY Delhi professor and his wife.

The Delaware County Undersheriff says the bodies of Willis and Wendy Brown were found Wednesday morning inside their Main Street home in the Village of Franklin. Both of them were shot, but it's still not clear who opened fire.

The undersheriff says an autopsy is being conducted to provide a clearer picture of what happened.

Willis Brown was an assistant professor of applied sciences and building technologies at SUNY Delhi. Wendy Brown worked as a financial adviser.
