WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- A rollover accident knocked out power for some in Watertown. Officials say an SUV slid off County Route 67 near Sandy Creek Valley Road around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

After coming to a stop in the middle of the road, the driver and a young passenger were able to climb out of the car. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The car crash knocked down a power pole and transformer on the side of the street, cutting power to the area of Burrville and Watertown.

National Grid was called to the scene for repairs.
