CHITTENANGO, N.Y. - The deciding goal in the Class A Section III championship was scored in the first five minutes of the game as the Red Rams made a Whitesboro own goal stand up in a 1-0 victory. A Warrior defender ended up the kicking the ball into her own net after Jamesville-DeWitt sent a centering pass in front of the Whitesboro goal.

J-D has now beaten Whitesboro in three straight Class A title games. The Red Rams advance to the first round of states against the Section II champion on Tuesday at Fulton.
