SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse University field hockey team is 15-1 overall, 5-0 in the Big East and ranked No. 3 in the country, but the Orange still has to beat one more opponent to win the conference title: UConn, which is 16-1, also 5-0 in the Big East, and ranked No. 4.
Syracuse and UConn have combined to win the past five Big East regular-season championships and the past eight tournament titles. Their marquee matchup takes place Saturday at SU's Coyne Stadium starting at 1 p.m.
