KENTUCKY -- As the presidential candidates continue to tour the country with just a few weeks before the general election, the candidates for vice president will take part in their one and only debate tonight in Kentucky.

The topic for the 90-minute debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Republican Paul Ryan is foreign and domestic issues.

Democrats are hoping for a strong showing from the vice president tonight following Mitt Romney's strong debate performance over a week ago against President Obama. Both candidates are prepared for anything that could happen in the debate.

"We think he's probably going to come at me like a cannonball," said Ryan. "More pressure because Mitt Romney put such a great performance that the bar is pretty high. There's also pressure because Joe Biden has been doing this for 40 years. The man ran for president twice. He's the sitting vice president. This is my first time on this kind of stage."

"What I've been doing mostly, quite frankly, is studying up on Congressman Ryan's positions on the issues," Biden said. "I don't want to say anything in the debate that's not completely accurate."

You can watch tonight's debate from Danville, Kentucky, live at 9 p.m. here on YNN as part of Capital Tonight.
