ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Saint Lawrence County man was arrested after officials say they found marijuana plants growing outside his home.

Edgar Blackmer, 44, is accused of growing marijuana at his house on Dana Hill Road in the Town of Russell. Authorities say they found more than 10 pounds worth of marijuana during an investigation at his home.

Blackmer is charged with unlicensed marijuana grow and criminal possession of marijuana.
