NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- Family and friends will gather in New Hartford today to remember Alexandra Kogut, 18. The College at Brockport freshman was killed over the weekend in her dorm room.

Police have charged her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore, 21, with her murder.

Calling hours for Kogut will be held today at Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home in New Hartford. They'll run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The funeral is planned for tomorrow at noon at St. John the Evangelist Church, also in New Hartford.
