WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- The Watertown International Airport is getting a nice chunk of change. Congressman Bill Owens has announced a $2 million grant for some upgrades.
Owens says the grant was awarded through the Federal Aviation Administration. The money will go to the reconstruction of a taxiway, while also improving drainage and lighting.
Work is expected to begin in the spring and take about five months.
