FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.Y. – A Tupper Lake man has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

James Tabolt Jr., 39, was in Federal Court Friday and admitted to possessing more than 1,300 images of child pornography on his computer between June of 2010 and February of 2011.

Under a plea agreement, Tabolt will face a maximum sentence of ten years in prison and a fine of $250,000. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Sentencing is scheduled for January of next year.
