MALONE, N.Y. -- A Franklin County man is dead after he was hit by a car. State Police said Timothy Raymond, 40, was hit while walking in the northbound lane of State Route 30 in Malone around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Raymond was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police are now investigating what led to the accident.
