ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- After being in office for only nine months, Gouverneur Mayor Christopher Miller has submitted his resignation.

According to a source close to the issue, Miller resigned at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
We're told Miller is leaving his position because of his recent marriage and desire to relocate and that Miller was honored to serve his community.
