POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Drivers are getting used to a new four way stop in Potsdam. The signs were put up earlier this week at the intersection of Main and Cedar streets.
The village chose to add the traffic signs after residents complained about drivers speeding and a lack of visibility while entering the intersection.
Officials say there have been minor accidents there in the past. They hope the stop signs will improve safety at the intersection.
A new four way stop has been erected in Dekalb Junction as well, at the intersection of Pooler and East Dekalb Road.
