STATEWIDE -- With storms expected across New York state, Governor Andrew Cuomo holds a news conference in New York City.

The governor started the news conference talking about Con Edison workers and urging the union and company to come to a temporary agreement and get back to work for the safety of New Yorkers.

The governor also spoke about staying safe during severe weather.

"All across the state. If you have travel plans monitor the weather reports. If you have to make adjustments, make adjustments," said Governor Cuomo.
