LANDOVER, Md. - The Syracuse Lady Knights' inaugural season is still going thanks to a 2-0 win over the Maryland Capitals in the Women's Premier Soccer League in the opening round of the regional playoffs on Sunday.

Alexis Koval and Emma Feranzi scored the goals for Syracuse, which advances to play New York Athletic Club this Wednesday at St. John's University. The teams played twice in the regular season with each team winning on the other's field; Syracuse won the first meeting 4-0 and NYAC returned the favor just over a week ago 2-1.
