BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - It's hard to believe Zack Wheeler when he says he's only focused on being in Double-A but the Mets' top prospect swears he is not concerned with a promotion that is sure to come soon.
Wheeler raised his stock even higher than it already was with a shutout on Saturday, giving him a 9-4 record with a 2.39 ERA. He's expected to be moved up to Triple-A Buffalo as soon as this week and parent club manager Terry Collins has said it's possible Wheeler could be in the Majors by the end of the year.
