Two arrested in connection with Ithaca robbery
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Two people were arrested after Ithaca police say they were involved in a home invasion robbery in the city.
The victim told police three people entered his home on Lake Avenue Thursday morning and demanded money. One of them showed a weapon.
The suspects took off as police arrived.
A short time later, police arrested Elizabeth Minor, 33, and charged her with robbery. They also arrested Jameel Melton, 28, after police say he pulled what looked like a gun on police during their pursuit. Officers say it turns out the weapon was actually a pellet gun.
Melton has been charged with robbery, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police are still looking for the third suspect.
