OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Oswego County man is accused of sexually abusing a child under the age of 11. Joseph Steadman, 34, was arrested Friday night. The abuse is alleged to have happened in July of 2008.

Steadman is charged with a count of criminal sex act and course sexual conduct against a child. He was sent to the county jail pending arraignment.
