CHITTENANGO, N.Y. - The five-seed Lakers pulled off a big upset Tuesday night, beating Class B number one seed Sherburne-Earlville 64-41. Freshman Elizabeth Lane led Skaneateles with 16 points, while Joanna Dobrovosky got a triple-double, with 13 points, 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lakers used a 21-5 third quarter to pull away from the Marauders. Skaneateles will play Hannibal in the next round next Tuesday.
