WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Barack Obama delivered his State of the Union Address Tuesday night.

While he reflected on the accomplishments our country has made in the past year, Obama went on to outline what he hopes to accomplish in the final year of this term as he looks ahead to his campaign of four more years in office.

During the address, Obama focused on moving forward as a country by creating jobs and improving economic growth. He says our country should be a world leader and a strong economy is the key to the future.

"No, we will not go back to an economy weakened by outsourcing, bad debt and phony financial profits. Tonight, I want to speak about how we move forward and lay out a blueprint for an economy that’s built to last. An economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, skills for American workers and a renewal of American values,” Obama said.

During the address, Obama also touched upon improving education by requiring students stay in school until they are 18, stopping illegal immigration while creating new paths to citizenship and safely allowing hydrofracking.
