ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The lengthy process of jury selection continues in St. Lawrence County in the re-trial of Wayne Oxley. Two more jurors were seated Thursday, bringing the total to five.
Oxley is accused of beating his neighbor, Bernard Trickey Jr., to death with a baseball bat at his home in Ogdensburg back in 2005.
Oxley was convicted in 2006, but the conviction was overturned after it was determined a judge wouldn't allow a witness to testify.
It is estimated that jury selection could take a week and the trial could last as long as three months.
