Skaneateles pulls off upset behind Dobrovosky's triple-double

The five-seed Lakers pulled off a big upset Tuesday night, beating Class B number one seed Sherburne-Earlville 64-41. Freshman Elizabeth Lane led Skaneateles with 16 points, while Joanna Dobrovosky got a triple-double, with 13 points, 10 points and 10 rebounds.

It started with allegations that Coach Jim Boeheim's long time assistant, Bernie Fine, had sexually abused two former ball boys. Comments the coach made following those allegations now have him and the Syracuse University facing a defamation lawsuit. Lawyers from both sides will be in court in New York City Friday. YNN's Erin Clarke breaks down the case so far and gives us a preview of Friday's proceedings.

Vestal hangs on to beat Ithaca in Class AA Section IV quarterfinals

The Vestal boys led Ithaca by 9 points in the third quarter, they watched their lead evaporate and trailed by as many as six in the fourth quarter, before a rebound putback by Jeremy Liss gave the Bears a one point lead in the game's final seconds. A last second shot by Ithaca's Jaedon Henderson was blocked and Vestal moves on to the semifinals with a 52-51 win.
