ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A high profile murder trial continues in St. Lawrence County. Tuesday, a jailhouse informant took the stand.
Anthony LaLonde, Michael Thorpe and Michael Durand are accused of robbing and killing Ralph Lawton, 83, in his Ogdensburg home back in 2010.
Shawn McGregor testified that he had conversations with one of the accused, Anthony LaLonde. The jailhouse friend claimed that LaLonde talked about the crime, saying that they didn't go there to murder him, they went to get drugs. McGregor also says LaLonde talked about a missing glove that was left at the scene, something that has become a key piece of evidence in the trial.
The judge told jurors that this evidence cannot be used against the other two defendants, Thorpe and Durand.
